Applicants’ Minimum Requirements
Education/Experience
According to the duties, each applicant must provide a certificate of completion or High School diploma or equivalent G.E.D. or have 12 months of field-related
experience.
Requirements for working with us
Must be able to follow directions, be in compliance with our company rules, have good operating procedures and good working practices;
Available to work any shift and overtime if necessary;
Able to lift 50 lbs, lifting standing, sitting, walking, pushing and pulling, bending, stretching;
Exposure to dust, and chemical, odors, be exposed to wet areas, extreme temperatures, must be able to handle from light to heavy-duty equipment
and wear all the mandatory protection equipment;
Some of our jobs require a California Driver’s Licence and a clean driving record;
Applicants must be capable of reading and writing English, or able to communicate with co-workers and supervisor, knowledge of the Spanish language is a
plus.
For some positions computer knowledge and Microsoft software knowledge of Word, Excel, Power Point, Front Page, Publisher and Visio.
Working Hours
Our working hours are
Manager eight (8) Hours a Day, five (5) days a week (on Call)
Supervisors eight (8) Hours a day, five (5 ) days a week; day, mid-day and night shift
Sanitation Technicians eight (8) hours a day five (5) days a week day, mid-day and night shift with occasional overtime. Days of the week can include Saturday
and Sunday
Part Time Employees and seasonal employment available.
Mandatory Training
J & E Eagles believes that investing time in good training and paying fair wages will give us better employees for a greater length of time.
We provide paid training to our employees with high standards of workmanship and provide new employees with an orientation program of on site training
(minimum of one week) and periodically training updates for new products, equipment, techniques and regulations. New employees must complete the first
week of training successfully.
